• Trip & Family Data: Trip names, dates, family names, member names, ages, and share weight configurations
• Expense Data: Expense amounts, descriptions, categories, dates, and receipt images (optional)
• Payment Information: We do NOT collect or store credit card or bank account information. Settlement transactions happen outside the app.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: App features used, time spent, interactions (via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash Data: Error logs and crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to improve app stability
• Location Data: We do NOT collect location data

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Tallzy service
• Calculate expense splits and settlements
• Enable collaboration between trip members
• Send you important service updates and notifications
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Detect and prevent fraud or security issues

We do NOT:

Within the App

Your trip and expense data is shared only with members you invite to your trips. Each trip member can view:

• All families and members in the trip
• All expenses added to the trip
• Settlement calculations

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, storage, analytics, and crash reporting
• Google Sign-In: For authentication (if you choose this option)
• Apple Sign-In: For authentication (if you choose this option)

• Account Data: Until you delete your account
• Trip Data: Until the trip is deleted by the creator or all members
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained longer for product improvement

Access and Portability

You can view all your data within the app. To request a copy of your data, contact us at tallzy.app@gmail.com.

Correction and Updates

You can update your profile information, trip details, and expenses directly in the app.

Deletion

You can:

• Delete individual expenses or trips
• Delete your entire account from Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Request account deletion by emailing tallzy.app@gmail.com

Note: Deleting your account will permanently delete all your trips, expenses, and personal data. This action cannot be undone.

Opt-Out Options

• Email Notifications: Disable in Settings → Notifications
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics; you can limit data collection through your device settings

Children's Privacy

Tallzy is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where Firebase/Google operates. By using Tallzy, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via:
